MR Tech/Laboratory Manager Position at UCLA Neuroimaging Facility

The Staglin IMHRO Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at University of California, Los Angeles (https://www.semel.ucla.edu/staglin), a world class neuroimaging facility, is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of MR Tech/Laboratory Manager at the center (Title: Staff Research Associate IV). Primary responsibilities include: (1) assistance in practical aspects of scanning; (2) management of day-to-day operations of the MRI lab; (3) assistance in lab management and technical development; and (4) oversight of scanner quality assurance. The position requires prior experience with MRI scanning and image analysis, working knowledge of Siemens MRI system and user interfaces. Working knowledge of MR Physics, MR programming tools (Matlab, SPM, FSL, Unix etc.) preferred. Biomedical engineering background preferred but not required. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate user interactions. Excellent time-management skills, initiative, ability to anticipate changes and develop solutions, attention to current developments in the field, and attention to detail are imperative.
