Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your reply. All .nii files at this stage are z maps generated from correlation with a ROI, and I am using 3dTcorr1D to correlate these z maps with a behavior measure (e.g. age). The output from 3dTcorr1D is interesting, so I am hoping to correlate each z map with its appropriate value in the behavior measure.
Since posting, someone suggested to me that I use the intere

Hello,
I am currently using 3dTcorr1D to correlate resting state data with individual columns of behavior data. The input for 3dTcorr1D has to be a concatenated file, and thus, my code looks like this:
3dTcat -prefix concatFile \
subject1.nii \
subject2.nii \
subject3.nii \
subject4.nii \
...
3dTcorr1D -prefix RSFC_covarySx concatFile+tlrc corrData_Sx

Hi Rick,
Thank you for your response. I redacted the actual subject names to avoid putting confidential info on the internet. So 1NNN may be 1234, or 1432, and none of them are identical. However, just in case it was a formatting issue with how the subject was called, I also tried the following (subject names have now been changed to sequential numbers, to avoid confusion), and it also did no

Hello,
I am quite new to AFNI, and am trying to run a one sample ttest with covariates. The script works without covariates, but when I try to add in -covariates COVAR_FILE, it breaks. Furthermore, the terminal window disappears so I can't read any error messages that may have come up, and the -debug command doesn't change anything about that. I would appreciate any help or advice!
