Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hi,
I ran between group resting state functional analyses between two groups of participants. I created three seeds for my regions of interest (left and right M1, left and right IFG, and left and right pSTS).
I started by using this script for pre-processing:
afni_proc.py -subj_id s01.REST \
-dsets s01_rest_EPI.nii \
-copy_anat s01_anat.nii \
-blocks despike tshift align tlrc volreg b

whereami -mask_atlas_region TT_Daemon:left:amygdala \
-prefix Lamygdala

Hi all,
I experienced a similar warning message as above.
I used 3dMVM to analyze fMRI data from n=102 subjects in a 2 (group) x condition 1 (2 levels) x condition 2 (5 levels) design.
Unlike other times using 3dMVM on my Mac Pro, (a) it took a lot longer (40 minutes per slice rather than usual 20) and (b) the following output warning appeared for several main effects and interactions

Hi all,
In one of our fMRI paradigms, I made an error in the first run of four total runs of a behavioral task. All runs of this behavioral task is compiled in one scan.
Since the behavioral onsets/regressors are off for this first run, it is un-analyzable. I would like to completely edit out this full run and analyze only the remaining three runs.
How is this best way to edit out thi
