Hello, does anyone know if its possible to convert a 3d+T bold image into a 2d+T flat map?
basically, i want a flat map time series, instead of a volume time series.
i have some experience with SUMA and freesurfer, but i couldn't find any easy way to do this...i've mostly just used these tools to visualize 3d correlation maps on the inflated surface.
i assume its possible howeve

Hi, does anyone know how to convert a 3d+t (3 time points) image to rgb?
i have freesurfer white matter surface normals in the 3d+t volume format (t0=x, t1=y, t2=z), and i would like to convert it into a tensor or RGB nifti for visualization in another software package.
thanks,
Russell

quick reply - this doesn't seem to work so well when i include a large number (40+) of noise component time series recovered from melodic. (it regresses out a lot of useful stimulus and resting state activity).
however, if i cluster my noise component time series into ~5 clusters, and average within clusters to produce 5 separate noise regressors, it works quite well to regress out noise

Hello, i was wondering if it makes sense to regress out the "noise component" time series from an FSL melodic spatial ICA decomposition (ie, the file created by melodic called "melodic_mix") using 3dTproject. this file contains a time series associated to each spatial ICA component. i would like to regress out some of the melodic ICA components.
typically, i use the fsl com

Hi, i would like to do some analysis comparing with/without Global Signal Regression, but most of my preprocessing is already done (motion correction is done, and i used melodic ICA to remove noise).
i was wondering if there is an AFNI function that i can use to solely perform global signal regression on my already-denoised datasets? thanks,
Russell

hi all, i try to run meica.py and i get this error: (see at the bottom)

hello, i have an FMRI ROI which is aligned with my SUMA surfVol in my freesurfer SUMA directory (it matches well, i was able to visualize the correlation map on the cortical surface in SUMA).
i was wondering if its possible to use SUMA/AFNI to actually compute surface area within my aligned FMRI ROI (right now its correlation values, but i can easily binarize it).
thanks,
Russell
