Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hello Gang,
Ex and Rest are the Exercise and Rest conditions that each subject performs before their scans (there is an Ex and Rest condition for each subject).
1 is the activity when shown a similar image, and 2 is the activity when shown an old image in the scanner. We are interested in the contrast of similar-old (which is the subbrick InputFile)
Order (of the Ex and Rest conditions),

Hello,
I have 35 subjects that have undergone 2 different scans in which they have completed a task following 2 different conditions (hence the reason I would like to use 3dLME for the within-subject nature of the study).
For this second level analysis, I would like to first identify "Condition active" voxels that are significantly different from null hypothesis of 0 activity dur

To bring this issue up again, I have also found that -clustersim produces some very large voxel thresholds for Diffusion data compared to fMRI data. Is there a reason for this/does this indicated -clustersim and -ETAC should not be used for the analysis of diffusion data?
Thanks,
Daniel

Hello,
I am running some data through 3dLME and am having issues controlling for Age. I have subjects who are MCI or healthy (cond) and who are tested before and after an intervention (time) and I would like to control for age (between-subject covariate).
I currently have the following but want to confirm whether I am in fact correctly controlling for age.
#!/bin/sh

Thank you for the thorough explanation! I am actually using a dataset where I do not have a field map or AP & PA acquisition so I am simply running the eddy_correct command in fsl.

Hello,
I am running am trying to run my dwi data through TRACULA and for two of my subjects I was unable to run the command orientLAS.
After using 3dinfo on the data set I found that the two subjects that didn't run had a Data Axes Tilt: Oblique (45.000 deg. from plumb)
My data set
Data Axes Tilt: Oblique (43.300 deg. from plumb)
Data Axes Tilt: Oblique (38.100 deg. from plumb)
