Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hello AFNI people,
I am using 3dNetCorr to compute correlation matrices on time series covering 13 minutes MRI runs, each with 780 EPIs (TR = 1sec).
I would like to compute the correlation matrices over 10 minutes only instead of the full 13 minutes, which basically means telling 3dNetCorr to use only the EPIs 1 to 600 instead of the full series. I looked into the doc and the forums but could

Thanks for the advice! For now I used Rick's method but I'll have a look at yours should the occasion present itself.

Hi Rick,
"Not trivial" to say the least indeed ^^" Thank you very much for the binaries! I'm running the script and it seems to be working like a charm.
Is there any conflict to expect if I want to switch back to the new version (the way I would do it is to rename the abin directory abin_18.2.15 and the abin_19.6 directory abin).
Thanks again,
Augustin

Hi everyone,
I am trying to install an older version (18.2.15) of AFNI on my computer (MacOS 10.14.5) but I have been unsuccessful so far... From what I understand it seems like the only way to install an older version of AFNI is to recompile it from source with the command \@get.afni.version 18.2.15.
After doing that I figured one needs to copy the right Makefile (in my case Makefile.macos

Hi Rick,
If I may add to my previous message, the reason why I am so concerned with tese differences is that we are computing connectivity matrices on the EPIs, and the matrices we get for each subject are very different. Although the correlations between matrices are high (0.95), the values of the elements can vary by a lot... Is this a known phenomenon?
Best,
Augustin

Hi Rick,
Indeed I was talking about results from different machines being not identical. Thanks a lot for the precisions, I expected something of the kind of purpoisefully added noise but could not find that in the documentation.
I understand now that there will be some variations from one machine to the other, but what I find odd is that if I run the processing twice in a row on the same mac

Hi AFNI experts,
I am writing because of a weird behavior with afni_proc and the conversion from original space to MNI space. I am collaborating with someone who wrote a piece of code in AFNI to preprocess MRI data and I am trying to replicate their experiement on a new dataset that I acquired myself.
Surprisingly when we run the same piece of code on our repsective machines, using the sa
