Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Hello I have two related questions:
1) Is there a way to easily run an FDR correction at a specified cluster level rather than the voxel level?
I would like to have enough power for my 3dANOVA to pick up on significant differences across three conditions. When I run alphasim it suggests a pvalue/cluster size that are too high to detect significance. Likewise when I look for q<.05 in the

Hello AFNI team. I am revising and resubmitting an article. One of the critiques it got is: "No rest periods were used between cue types (i.e., cigarette or neutral cues) to allow for hemodynamic response to settle; therefore the signal was "blurred" between conditions. Although the 3Ddeconvolve procedure used may theoretically be sufficient to achieve some separation, the design

Hello,
I am running an event related design and am having difficulty with getting 3dREMLfit to accept columns with all 0's. The reason there are columns with all 0's is that in some cases the invalid and missing tstim files do not contain any events (b/c there are no missing or invalid trials for that participant). When this is the case, I merely include 9999:1 in those timing files b

Hello,
I am trying to run 3dDeconvolve for the first time without having used waver first. I am running an event related design where I want to assign the stimulus type based on the participant response type. So if they make an impulsive choice it is an impulsive stimulus and if they make a restrained choice it is a restrained stimulus. I am making the start times when the stimulus is presente
