Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

rick,
Readme.attributes
it comes up when googling afni head file, towards the end it discusses accessing data elements in a c program
link to the readme file
it explains to include the mrilib.h file, which is indeed needed, but does not say what headers to include when compiling.

AFNI Message Board
Rick,
thank you very much, the issue was the load flags, with the above flags I was able to compile fine from the binary install. I think it would be a great idea to update the readme file with these flags to make it easier for people attempting to do this in the future.

AFNI Message Board
Hi afni message board,
I am trying to extract afni brik file data in the form of an array using mrilib.h as described in the README file. I am running into compilation issues, including abin gets me a little further but produces a different error.
This occurs with a binary install of afni (openMP 64 bit). I am wondering if I have to compile from source for the c functions to get a THD data set
