Dear AFNI users-
We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:
https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov
Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.
The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.
Sincerely,
AFNI HQ

Dear All,
I ran 3dGroupInCorr using 2 sample t-test design. I obtained the results map; I need help in interpreting the result:
- is the difference map a Z-scored map?
- how do I save the result?
- how do I threshold it and correct for multiple comparisons?
- also I used the cross hair to pick a seed voxel; however, I have my own masks for specific ROIs how do I use these in the analy

Rick,
Actually, when I split the data in half...it works on each half . Could it be a RAM issue rather than disk space?
thanks!

Dear all,
I am running 3dSetupGroupInCorr ; I keep getting "FATAL ERROR: Write to 'Hw.grpincorr.data' failed -- disk full? permission?"
I do have plenty of space on the disk and I do have permissions. I had already run the command on a different group of scans (one of my groups for the ttest) and it worked.
Any tips?
thanks!

Dear AFNI users,
I am new to afni. I am trying to use Instacorr to compute group differences in seed connectivity. I am able to make instacorr show me connectivity in a single subject; however, I do not know how to make it show me group differences? Are there any instructions of how to make it do that? Mainly, I do not know how we assign the groups and how we make it give a group result

Hi Rick
when I use " 3dTcat -prefix RSNI_timing -tpattern @my_times.txt RSN1.nii.gz "
I get this error:FATAL ERROR: -tpattern not ready for @filename, please complain".
The my_times.txt contains one column with 60 rows each having the timing of the slice in seconds (I tried in ms too)
thanks!
