AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi there,

I'm struggling to find a way to co-register multiple (tiny) slabs to one another. The solution I have come up with involves deobliquing all the runs, volreg within-runs and then allineate to a common target. I know it is best to only interpolate an EPI dataset once.

1) Most of this, if not all, can be done with align_epi_anat.py. I am currently using it to create transformation matricies, so that I can use "wsinc5" in 3dAllineate for the final image creation. Should I just be using align_epi_anat.py?

2) Is there any way for me to compute each transformation, including deobliquing, and then use cat_matvec to combine them?

Thanks, your registration tools are incredibly powerful and useful.
