AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I have been trying to load an image (the SPM single_subject.nii) into the render plugin in the most current version of AFNI, to do some simple activation rendering and I cannot get that image (or any other structural image for that matter, even when coverted to .head/.brik files) to load as the render underlay.

Strangely, AFNI will load the single_subject.nii file into the basic orthogonal views. Additionally, in the render underlay pulldown menu AFNI only displays the activation image (also a .nii file) and no other images in the directory. When i select the activation image as the underlay and expand the window to select the overlay, AFNI will now display all the remaining images (incl. the single_subject.nii) as being available.

Note: Perhaps this is obvious, but all of these images were created in SPM (or via Marsbar), so I don't know if that is part of the problem. However, i had done this before with older versions of AFNI and never encountered this particular problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Keith
