AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to install AFNI the way recommended here [afni.nimh.nih.gov]
since there do not seem to be specific instructions for Mountain Lion (I've read this thread but it doesn't solve the glib problem.)

While I got AFNI up and running, I've run into problems with fink and the apparent lack of a glib package suitable for use with macosx_10.7_Intel_64.tar.gz that I've downloaded from the AFNI website.

My question is how do you guys deal with this?

Usually I just compile my own version of AFNI against my macports tree, but I wanted to try the AFNI recommended way in the hope that it might be quicker.

Thanks,

Colm.
