AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to update AFNI by downloading the Mac OS X Lion (10.7 Intel) 64bit tarball from [afni.nimh.nih.gov]
but when I run the afni in the extracted directory it tells me

colmconn@Colms-iMac:/Volumes/opt/software/macosx_10.7_Intel_64> ./afni -ver
Version AFNI_2011_12_21_1014
[[Precompiled binary macosx_10.7_Intel_64: Dec 20 2012]]

If I try to use @update.afni.binaries but it tells me

colmconn@Colms-iMac:/Volumes/opt/software/macosx_10.7_Intel_64> ./@update.afni.binaries -bindir ./ -package macosx_10.7_Intel_64
-- have AFNI binaries under /Volumes/opt/software/afni

Is there something up with the link or has AFNI really not been updated since then?

Thanks,
