AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all-

Our group is getting the following error message shortly after starting AFNI on one of our iMacs; specifically after opening a few datasets and working for 1-2 minutes. Seems to be isolated to one iMac. We've re-downloaded AFNI binaries but the message persists. I'm thinking there's a conflict with the OS or X11, but would like to have some expert input before I start reinstalling things.

I couldn't find much in the Message Board - did try AFNI_FLOATSCAN = YES to no avail, per this not quite related thread: [afni.nimh.nih.gov]

As you can see, we haven't installed the packages for image save, but this neglect has not caused problems in the past (other similar machines.) I am wondering about "Illegal driver custom duplication '3DSVM'"

Thanks!
Josh
