AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I was trying to search old posts for some answers, but have not quite stumbled upon the right thing yet. This one seemed to be about the closest. I'm not an AFNI user, but am currently working with some people who are doing their fMRI work in AFNI. I have processed all of the freesurfer data for those same subjects, and what we now want to do is use the subject-specific segmentation generated in Freesurfer to extract activation information from the AFNI processing. As you've mentioned, while these freesurfer ROIs are in subject space they are not in alignment with the AFNI data. What is the best way to register my FS segmentations to the AFNI data so that it can be applied as a mask to extract activation values?

Thank you!!
