I'm currently comparing FA output between two versions of 3dDWItoDT before upgrading.

AFNI version=AFNI_2011_12_21_1014 (May 2 2012) [64-bit]
vs.
AFNI version=AFNI_2011_12_21_1014 (Sep 25 2013) [64-bit]

In the output of the new version I now see a few very low FA values in the corpus callosum as well as some around CSF.
New version: 0.123456
Old version: 1

The new value appears to match the default setting for the new flag "-csf_fa"
However, if I set "-csf_fa 1.000" I do not get the same output as the old version. The CC values are converted to "1.0" but I now get additional voxels outside the brain that appear as "1.0". See attached Figure 1.

Questions:
1) The new version with "-csf_fa 1.000" gives same results as "3dDTeig". Is "-csf_fa 1.000" the default for "3dDTeig"?
2) What might account for the differences between the old version and the new version (with "-csf_fa 1.000")

Suggestions:
1) When defaults in afni binaries change, please list those changes in AFNI HISTORY. I looked and didn't see this but maybe missed it.
2) Clarify documentation for "-csf_fa" because it doesn't appear to be specific to CSF.
