We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

A correlation matrix is not the same as "HEAD BRIK". "HEAD" and "BRIK" are the extensions of AFNI header and data volumetric, respectively. The HEAD file contains meta-information about the data (such as voxel size, voxel positions, orientation, volume acquisition time). The BRIK data file contains for each voxel one or more values (such as a time series, response estimates, or statistics).

Could you please explain what data you have, what you want to correlate, and what you're trying to do in your analysis?
