AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

bloody visual cut paste -- there is a bug somewhere in the system ;)

No sumarc file found. You should create one by running the following:

              suma -update_env

I also recommend you run 'suma -update_env' whenever you update AFNI.

See details for -environment and -update_env options in suma -help's output.

suma -i ld120 13,22s user 2,28s system 25% cpu 1:01,51 total

on this rendering indeed feels quite choppy... for the use cases I use suma for seems to be tollerable.

unfortunately my virtualgl+tigervnc setup is not fully functional atm since I haven't tried it for years and there were system upgrades, I would expect it be a bit beefier
