AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

when I try to flip any file with 3dLRflip (AFNI version=AFNI_2011_12_21_1014 (Jan 8 2014) [64-bit])

I get this message:

++ processing input+orig ...
*** ERROR: failed to open file ./input_Lf Q\ufffd,*+orig.HEAD for attribute writing;
         - Do you have permission to write to this disk?
         - Is the disk full?
*** Datablock write error: failure to write attributes - is disk full? do you have write permission?

it seem that the "+" symbol is somehow replaced by an unsupported chinese character (at least the "Q\ufffd,*" it appears as such on my screen)

I tried to replicate the flipping with 3drotate, but seems to consider the whole volume as one, how can I just flip each slice seperately without chaning the anterior-posterior direction?
well I can get a workaround by just cutting and pasting the slices in the correct order again, but 3dLRflip would be much more convenient...
