AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi. I'm newbie in AFNI
Recent days, I have some trouble with 3dDWUncert

3dDWUncert command needs exact iterantion number

Below is example

3dDWUncert \
-inset TEST_FILES/DTI/fin2_DTI_3mm_1+orig \
-prefix TEST_FILES/DTI/o.UNCERT \
-input TEST_FILES/DTI/DT \
-grads TEST_FILES/Siemens_d30_GRADS.dat \
-iters 50

In above command, -iters 50 is default? or is there any meaning? (It need a very short time)

or likewise fsl, it needs least 5000 times?

more importantly, how can I decide the optimal number? how much is the minimum number?

please, give me some advice

Regards

TaeYoung
