You do not need FINK....

If you are using bash, you can type this into the command line and it will work (the setnev code is only for shell):

echo 'export DYLD_FALLBACK_LIBRARY_PATH=$HOME/afni' >> .profile

after running that, run this:
. .profile

and it should work.
