Hello AFNI team. I am revising and resubmitting an article. One of the critiques it got is: "No rest periods were used between cue types (i.e., cigarette or neutral cues) to allow for hemodynamic response to settle; therefore the signal was "blurred" between conditions. Although the 3Ddeconvolve procedure used may theoretically be sufficient to achieve some separation, the design choice was suboptimal.."

Is there a particularly good 3dDeconvolve empirical article in support of its ability to model the hemodynamic response accurately?

Thanks!
