AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello, oh AFNI Masters,

I recently got the PPI code on Gang's homepage to run without erroring out, and to produce timecourses that (look) alright. We're using Broadman Area 25 (bilaterally) for our mask, warping the tlrc version back to orig space, and then using 3dmaskave to get the time course. From there, we're just borrowing Gang's code.

However, we noticed in our group level t-test on the Seed_ts parameter that we are not seeing high correlations (or a high beta value) in the tlrc BA25 region (it's actually surprisingly low).

Could this be a result of poor parameters in our 3dfractionize step, when we warp the mask to orig space, or could it be due to poor signal-to-noise in that region with our scans? Do those seem like likely culprits/is this a problem anyone has encountered and has some insight on?

Please let me know anything I can provide, and thank you all so much!

Cheers,
~Nate
