Something is definitely not right. Kill the job, and do the following:

1) Start R in the directory where you ran the analysis;
2) Copy the following into the R prompt:

source('~/abin/AFNIio.R') # make appropriate change if your AFNI binary directory is not ~/abin
load.debug.AFNI.args('.3dMVM.dbg.AFNI.args')

3) Hit return when you see

Execute source command? [Y|n]:

4) Hopefully you can find out who is the trouble maker.
