AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello All,

I thought this issue would be straight forward but I seemed to have run into some issues. I ultimately have two 3d data sets that I want to merge using 'to3d'. They are nifti file formats and, verified with '3dinfo', one is oblique and the other isn't. They both are the same matrix sizes. I'd like register the oblique data set to the cardinal, or non-oblique set. I thought using 3dWarp with '-oblique2card obliqueset.nii' and '-gridset parentcardset.niii' would be the solution but the resulting BrIk after trying to combine them with 'to3d' is all skewed in a very strange and unexplainable way. Is there anything that I seem to be missing or misunderstanding about this? Thank you always for all y'all's help.

Cheers
