AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I'm looking for a way to apply the cytoarchitectonic areas from the Zilles atlas (e.g., PAC_TE10) to standard mesh surface data for an ROI analysis.

I haven't been able to find the Zilles probabilistic atlas associated with any surface files generated by my implementation of afni_proc.py or @SUMA_Make_Spec_FS (whereas the freesurfer parcellations, for example, are brought along for the ride as roi files). However, I have a sneaking suspicion that this atlas could be associated with some file in that lives in the afni/suma bin directories (perhaps in a niml dataset analogous to the TT_N27_CA_EZ_PMaps.BRIK/HEAD files; though I don't see something similar in the suma_TT_N27 directory and the session atlas here shows no signs of cytoarchi. areal life).

Do I need to make my own surface file based on the Zilles atlas (if so, recommendations as to how to best go about this would be appreciated), or can I index these ROIs directly?

Thanks!

Kelly
