AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello,

Use 3dUndump for that. You will need a master dataset, which can be the volume from which these corrdinates were derived, or the volume from which you want to extract the data.
Either way, the first step is to open AFNI with the dataset you will be providing as -master, and using jump to XYZ with one of the coordinates to see if you go to the correct location. I have a suspicion that the coords you have in your list are not in mm RAI, but they may be in voxel indices instead. So make sure the coordinates you have in hand are in mm first. Then I suspect you have to negate the X, Y coordinates because B.V. uses LPI instead of RAI.
In any case, once you figure out how these coordinates relate to the volume of interest, 3dUndump will do what you want to get done.

cheers,
Ziad
