Thank you for posting this Makefile. Would you mind confirming which packages need to be installed prior to building? I have downloaded Xcode, command line tools, MacPorts, openmpi-gcc49 (via MacPorts), yet the makefile continues to crash at:

mv: rename 3dkmeans to /Users/admin/abin/3dkmeans: No such file or directory
make: *** [install] Error 1

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
