Which colinn27 brain are you using? That brain comes in at least three different spaces. The TT_N27 brain is in Talairach space, but there are other versions distributed with AFNI and with other packages that are in MNI or MNI_ANAT space. You might consider using 3dWarp and @Shift_Volume to transform datasets among the spaces. See this previous post for some more information:
