AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I just wanted to post a quick update about this...

Rick valiantly assisted with this issue and gave me some suggestions for using Dimon. The original data (that I/he/we were trying to reconstruct) had "alternating" flip angles, so each ~40 dicom files the orientation of the volumes actually changed. The folks who originally collected this data said did this to minimize artifact (?), and averaged together a Left and Right version of the flip volumes creating a longer effective TR (originally was 3, then became 6s). Compounding those challenges, some subjects look to have all their data, but some have missing dicoms. I'm still trying to work through all that (as I *at least* think that is complex... though I am simple man)
