AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi AFNI experts,
I am wondering if there are any existing AFNI tools that I can use for analysis of canonical correlation.
Namely, given 2 sets of time series (by specifying a mask on a 3d+t and another mask on another 3d+t), X = (X1, ..., Xn) and Y = (Y1, ..., Ym), to find linear combinations of A=a1*X1+a2*X2+...+an*Xn and B=b1*Y1+b2*Y2+...+bm*Ym, which can maximize the A-B correlation.

I guess that AFNI does not have an existing tool designed for this specific purpose. But other than 3dmaskdump, I would like to use AFNI(matlab) as much(less) as possible.

Thank you very much!
