AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

hi everyone (especially Gang)

I have a question about using 1dSVAR. We have a design where participants watch 3 types of video clip, A, B and C. The idea is to identify a network using the A videos (using PPI or 3dGC.R) and then seeing whether certain connection strengths between regions in this network differ while watching clips of type B or type C. Would it be statistically justifiable / 'kosher' to run 1dSVAR on the B trials and the C trials separately and then test the difference in connection strengths using a paired t-test? or am I way off base here?

thanks in advance

James
