I have a question to the results I am getting after used my multimask based on the folowing commands:

The columns in the results do not identify which brain region the numbers were collected from. Am I correct in guessing they are in order of the listing of the brain region when I made the multi-mask?
The other question I have is that I am still not sure what the -expr 'step(a) through +22*step(v)' does. I tried reading up on this in the 3dcalc help file and still didn't understand the math behind it. I am using this command based on what my predecessor did with this data set.
