We are seeking individuals who are interested in a research associate position in the laboratory of Dr. Deborah Harrington at the University of California San Diego and the VA San Diego Healthcare System.

Our collaborative team is using neuroimaging tools to study changes in the brain that are related to cognitive functioning in Parkinson’s disease. The position offers an exciting and unique opportunity for a multidisciplinary research experience in cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, and neuropsychology.

The candidate will be engaged in acquiring MRI data, learning MRI software and scripts, assisting in the analysis of behavioral and neuroimaging data (e.g., functional and structural MRI.



The candidate should hold a bachelors or masters degree and have a strong background in cognitive science, neuroscience, cognitive psychology, or a related field. Experience in testing human subjects, analyzing neuroimaging data, computing skills, using Linux or UNIX-based operating systems, and shell scripting is highly desirable.

Annual starting salary is $38,000 to $52,000, depending on experience.
