AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi all

I noticed there are a few updates with 3dClustSim and I wondered what the best way to use it for an ANOVA main and interactions maps created from a group analysis of resting state datasets was. For eg.

Should I use a a file with bucket sub-bricks of resting state maps for a network from all my subject (eg. File dmn.nii.gz has 20 sub-bricks for 20 subjects) and estimate the smoothness for each subjects using:
3dFWHMx -arith -demed -automask -input *filename* -out *output_filename*

FYI, The input correlation maps are unthresholded z transformed correlation maps from a seeding analysis.

Then average the respective x, y and z estimates across subjects. Insert those values into sx, sy and sz?

3dClustSim -nxyz 91 109 91 -dxyz 2 2 2 -mask *ANOVA main effect map* -iter 10000 -pthr 0.01 -fwhmxyz sx sy sz -quiet -prefix 0.01_3dClustSim.1D

Does this sound correct?

Any advice is appreciated smiling smiley

S
