AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Where does the 6 come from in "3dClustSim -fwhm 6"?
The initial 3dFWHMx command should output FWHM
parameters along with the ACF ones, and I would expect
it to be less than 6.

That suggests that 6 was your applied blur, in which case
3dFWHMx is giving an underestimate of the blur. Please
add a mask to your 3dFWHMx command, so that it is
not computed outside the brain. It might be good to
follow an afni_proc.py example, for example,
AFNI_data6/FT_analysis/s15.proc.FT.uber.
