AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi afni experts, afni newbie here. I am trying to run 3dClustsim on a dataset where I'm also using 3dttest++ to create functional overlays for a group analysis. I'm doing this because the false discovery rate is not working properly in my version of afni for some reason (I'm using afni Bootcamp on my pc). To elaborate, the q value adjusts itself only to a point but after I raise the T-threshold slider past a certain point it stops adjusting itself. I was told to run 3dClustsim on my dataset to compensate for this, but I am unsure how to execute this in the terminal, and I could really use some help with working this out. Could someone please demonstrate how to accomplish this? Do I need to run 3dClustsim before or after 3dttest++, or run them simultaneously?

Thank you in advance,

Jen
