AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I am hiring 3 postdoc researchers to help me work out how we remember lifelike events (3-year contracts). Methods are mainly functional MRI, but also virtual reality, neuropsychology and computational modelling. A background in memory research and a track record of publications would be helpful but not essential.

This is part of a 5-year European Research Council funded project (“EVENTS” – Consolidator grant to C Bird). Sussex University has a new 3T Siemens Prisma MRI scanner, is a friendly campus on the south coast of the UK and is within easy reach of London. The posts are available at both junior and senior level, suitable for completing PhD students or established postdocs.

For details about how to apply, see [www.sussex.ac.uk]
For more information about the work of the Episodic Memory Group at Sussex University, see

Please email the PI, Dr Chris Bird, if you are thinking of applying or would like further information. Deadline for applications is 25 April 2019.
