AFNI/SUMA creates standardized meshes. So, by default you can display your results (niml.dsets?) on any mesh. Therefore, you can load up one of the pre-made MNI meshes (e.g., available here: [afni.nimh.nih.gov]) as the "underlying" mesh, and display your results there.
