AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi, Maverick-

Most times I see that on Windows Subsystem Linux, it involves this part of the setup instructions:
[afni.nimh.nih.gov]
I will assume that you have the vcXsvr installed.

First thing I would do, is close Ubuntu, start the vcXsvr, and then open an Ubuntu terminal and try (this would solve things if you have followed the setup instructions in that step, but not re-sourced your terminal's ~/.*rc for the changes to be recognized by the terminal).

If that doesn't work, then my guess is that the copy+pasting in step #4 there was not done; so, I would do that, and then open a new Ubuntu terminal.
