AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hello Sean:

There should be a 1-1 correspondence between time points in the stim files
and time points in the time series data. (There is one exception: if the
"-stim_nptr" option is used, then there should be multiple stim fnc. time
points for each data point.)

Therefore, line 0 of the stim file corresponds to time point 0 of the time
series data, line 1 of the stim file corresponds to time point 1 of the time
series data, etc. etc. ("-stim_nptr" option excluded).

Important: Although using "-nfirst 8" means that the first 8 data points are
ignored, this does not mean that the first 8 input stim fnc. points are
ignored. Specifically, if maxlag > 0, then some (or all) of the first 8
input stim fnc. points will be used in modeling the data (as a time-delayed
response to previous inputs).
