AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I have added the following resampling option to both 3drotate and the Nudge Dataset plugin: "-Fourier_nopad". This lets you shift the image using the FFT method and keep the wraparound effect. You should be able to use this special case to fix your images. In your particular case, something like this should help:

3drotate -ashift -20A 0 0 -Fourier_nopad -prefix AA_fixed AA+orig

I'm just guessing that 20mm shift in the anterior direction should work -- you'll have to experiment, or something.

This change is now in the AFNI source code and the linux_glibc22 binaries.
