I am working on a module in Slicer that does a coordinate transformation from RAS space to talairach space. I have been using a Freesurfer module MRITOTAL to calculate the correct rotation matrix for a particular brain, but its accuracy has not proven itself by a longshot. I noticed that in AFNI talairached header files there are warping parameters, and I was wondering does anyone know if these can be used or transformed into a rotation matrix? Also, I was wondering which AFNI module queries the TTatlas+tlrc.BRIK.gz for talairach labels?
