AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Lydia,

The output shows that you are actually running version 2.24a.
That means the new version that you downloaded is either not
in your path, or comes after the old directory in your path.

First, find out the location of the afni program that you are
currently running with the command "which afni".

Depending on whether that is under your home directory, you
will then either need to remove that directory from your path,
or, if you own it, simply move the new binaries into that
directory (over-writing the old ones).

Updating your path should be done in your .cshrc file (or
.bashrc file, if you are using that shell).

Please let me know if you have questions about this.
