AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi Ziad,

My slices cover 45 mm (there are 19 of them, and they are 1.9 mm thick with a 25% gap). They are centered low; the highest slice is only slightly above the AC-PC line. Does 3dAnatNudge have limits for where it will shift data? My slices are centered lower than most whole brain studies I have seen.

I was attempting to use 3dAnatNudge to apply the necessary translations to align my EPIs to tne anatomical. Once I rotated the anatomical data set to match the angle at which the EPIs were acquired, by visual inspection it looked like my EPIs only needed to be shifted down the inferior/superior axis (z), and slightly on the R/L axis. Will 3dAnatNudge not work because the EPIs were acquired at an angle?

I will use the Nudge Dataset plugin and will let you know how it goes.

Thank you,

Kim
