Hi,
I'm trying to run a 2 x 2 ANOVA using 3dANOVA3. I am trying to set up the ANOVA using the -type 4 option in which the first two factors are fixed factors and the last factor, which is the subjects, is the random factor. There are 13 subjects in this analysis.

the error is this:
3dANOVA3 Error: must have equal sample sizes for 3dANOVA3.
My impression is that the error means that each subject does not have each factor associated with it. I have checked this several times and I think they're all there.
So I tried to run the 3dANOVA3 using just the first 4 subjects. And it worked. Then I tried adding another 4 to the command and it complained. I found out that it would work as long as I used 6 subjects or less. It didn't matter which subjects I used. As long as I used 6 or fewer subjects it was fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what's going wrong here?
