You could use 3dAFNItoANALYZE; for example
3dAFNItoANALYZE zork bork+orig
will write ANALYZE format file pairs
zork_0000.hdr zork_0001.img <-- from sub-brick #0
zork_0001.hdr zork_0001.img <-- from sub-brick #1
etc.
The .hdr files are the 348 byte ANALYZE header. The .img files contain only the voxel data (e.g., a 10x10x10 brick would have 1000 numbers in the .img file, and nothing else). For more information on 3dAFNItoANALYZE, see [
afni.nimh.nih.gov].
There is no AFNI program for conversion back to Siemens .ima format (either the older version or the newer pseudo-DICOM version). The .img files will not be mosaic-ed as Siemens does. Instead, the slices are stored sequentially.
