AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Having created a set of functional ROI masks from a one-sample t-test, I want to apply 2 of the functional ROI masks that are now in +tlrc coordinates to the 3d+time series data of 13 subjects that is in +orig space.

What is the best way to proceed: convert the +tlrc coordinate ROI mask to each person's +orig space (3dfractionize)? Or is it possible to convert the 3d+time series +orig for each subject into +tlrc space and keep the time series info using adwarp?

A more laborious procedure might include finding the x,y,z coordinate for each subject in +orig space with the max fit coefficient within the ROI space i am examing and draw a sphere of radius x as an ROI in +orig space. Then use 3dmaskdump to extract a value at each TR across all the voxels in the sphere?

Advice from AFNI wizards will be greatly appreciated?
