AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

I'm working on a project in which we are trying to cross reference mouse and human anatomic maps. I'm trying to begin with a very rough translation between the Talairach atlas and the rodent brain. While the following may end up having no realistic utility, we at least want to try to warp a mouse brain to Talairach coordinate space. We located the AC and PC on our sample mouse brain, but the quality controls of course failed due to the proximity between ac and pc (3mm). In short is there any way to bypass quality control and to stretch the rodent brain into Talairach space anyway? While I know this sounds conceptually rough we are at a very exploratory stage, and want to stop short of a voxel by voxel translation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
