AFNI Message Board

Dear AFNI users-

We are very pleased to announce that the new AFNI Message Board framework is up! Please join us at:

https://discuss.afni.nimh.nih.gov

Existing user accounts have been migrated, so returning users can login by requesting a password reset. New users can create accounts, as well, through a standard account creation process. Please note that these setup emails might initially go to spam folders (esp. for NIH users!), so please check those locations in the beginning.

The current Message Board discussion threads have been migrated to the new framework. The current Message Board will remain visible, but read-only, for a little while.

Sincerely, AFNI HQ

Hi,

I have a question about scaling an axial oblique acquisition to a standard space .

I have

-a structural volume - 26 slices ; axial straight aquisition;
-a structural volume - 10 slices ; axial oblique aquisition;
-32 functional volumes - 10 slices; axial oblique aquisition;

I was able to rotate the straight aquisition to have the same angle with the axial oblique/functional volumes.

I have noticed that the strucural axial oblique aquisition do not overlap perfectly the rotated axial straight aquisition, plus there is that difference of number of slices (10 versus 26).

* I am not able to set the markers on the structural axial oblique aquisition because it is not such a high resolution image (in coronal and sagittal views);
* The strucural axial oblique aquisition do not overlap perfectly the rotated axial straight aquisition, so I'm not sure if I can use the rotated axial straight aquisition to set the markers.

I would appreciate your expertise.

Thank you .
